Happy New Year everybody!! I hope everybody got what they wished for this Christmas! I had a wonderful Holiday Season this year and I'm so excited for 2008!
Gravitesse has a few surprises lined up for you and we're in the process of finalizing some details...I can't divulge any secrets right now but stay tuned for some exciting news!!!
| Gen Takes Back to Back Wins!

The second half of the Quebec Cup series started last weekend with race #4 being held at Camp Fortune. After having run the same course for the past several years, the trail crew decided to change it up this year. The course was steep and technical. Definately a challenge for everyone, including the locals.
Gen rose to the occasion and took to win on home turf, infront of a huge crowd that was louder than I have ever seen before at a Quebec Cup. Anne also took the win in her category, even though she has a crash that winded her badly.

Race #5 took place this weekend at Massif du Sud. It was the Quebec Championship race, so Gen was going back to defend her title. I just heard that Gen did it...and won the race by a margin of about 0.2 seconds! A very close race.

| Anne Laplante - 2007 National Champ!

Last weekend was the Canadian Nationals race at Mount Washington. Both Sheila and Anne were there representing their provinces and Gravitesse. It was a rainy/muddy course but both girls did very well and came up with good results in their race runs.
Anne was able to finish with a faster time than Miranda Miller, a junior from BC who has been having a great season. This makes Anne the 2007 Junior National Champ!
Sheila also had a good run, finishing 4th place.
